In some cases, they image has been enhanced with digital darkroom techniques. This was mainly to eliminate damage or uneven aging to the image. In all cases, maintaining a true-to-life image has been a priority.
Striving to maintain authenticity the images have been reproduced in much of their original condition, including ragged edges, clipped corners, certain flaws, and other character conditions. Once framed and displayed, only very close inspection will reveal it is a reproduction.
