Sketched Images

There are a variety of reasons to turn a photo into a sketch.

It can turn a flat, bland image into unique & attractive artwork.
It may bring out the main content versus background noise.
It usually prints more crisp on a home or professional printer.
They make wonderful framed print, greeting and note cards

Type of Sketches

Sketches encompass a number of different style, each with their own affect, usually the preference of the viewer. These include:

Pencil - General pencil sketch
Hatching - Use of lines in various forms. There are many variations: Parallel, contour, cross and others.
Stippling - Dots are used instead of line
Realism/Photorealism - Accurate pencil drawings

Prompt: Create stippling sketch of this photo. (Gemini 3.0) Note: This young man signed up for service the day after Pearl Harbor. He served over 20 years in the Air Force.

Stippling is used for special cases for special effects; the image is made of various size dots.

c. 1920 Photograph – Grandmother

Prompt: Sketch version: create pencil sketch with fine lines, use original face, do not change.
Paint version: Paint with a Leonardo Da Vinci style, keep current face, expression and scene. (Both Gemini 3.0)
